Hi! I’m Emily.
I like to tell people that the only way I know how to make money is through photography. It’s basically all I’ve done for my entire adult life. That, and be a mom.
But honestly, my love for photos started long before I ever thought about making a career out of it.
I fell in love with photos and videos when I was a little girl. My dad died when I was eight, and the photos and home videos we had of him became some of the most important things I owned. I still cling to those same photos and videos today. They remind me that a life can be gone, but the little pieces of it we preserve can stay with us forever.
I think that’s probably where all of this started for me.
Over the years, I’ve photographed just about everything. Weddings, families, seniors, babies, brands, businesses, events, real estate... you name it, I’ve probably had a camera in my hands for it. But somewhere along the way, I realized that what I love most isn’t just taking a pretty picture.
I love storytelling.
I love the messy, ordinary, beautiful parts of people’s lives. The way your kids actually laugh. The way your husband looks at you when you aren’t paying attention. The chaos that comes with having three kids. The backyard you’ve spent years making memories in. The season of life that you know will change before you’re ready for it to.
That’s what I want to photograph.
I want your photos to feel like you, not like you showed up to a photoshoot and tried to become someone else for an hour. I’ll absolutely give you a few pretty golden-hour portraits because I’m still a photographer and I can’t help myself , but I also want you to play, move, laugh, connect and just be human.
Because that’s the good stuff.
I’m a wife, a mom to three girls, a storyteller, a little bit of an over-thinker, and someone who genuinely believes that ordinary moments are worth remembering.
It’s an honor every time someone chooses me to capture a piece of their story. I don’t take that lightly.
So whether you’re getting married, raising babies, sending a senior into the world, building a business, celebrating a milestone, or simply realizing that your family looks a little different than it did a year ago...
I’d love to tell your story
